Events and classes always fill up quickly so make your reservation as soon as you know you are interested.
Payment is required at time of registration. 

Please note our cancellation and missed class policy: Teachers are paid directly by student fees alone, and are not paid an hourly rate by the shop.  Refunds are not given later than 3 days prior to the start of the class. unless Uptown Fibers cancels the class for lack of participation.  

Please do not sign up for a class unless you feel you are able to attend every session.  There will be no refunds for missed classes, and in some cases, make-up sessions may not be possible.  In the case of an emergency situation, a make-up class may be considered by private arrangement with the teacher and there will be a $10 make-up class fee payable directly to the teacher at the time of the make up class.  Make up classes cannot be done during a teacher's shop floor time (if your teacher is also an employee of Uptown Fibers); this is not fair to customers, nor is it fair to the student who deserves personal and private attention during their make-up session.  In the event that the class is cancelled by Uptown Fibers, refunds will be given in the same form of original payment. 

Is there a technique you'd like to learn that we aren't currently offering? Let us design a class for you! You can select a one-on-one lesson, or bring a few friends who want to learn the same technique and we'll set up a group lesson just for your circle of friends (minium 4).

Birthday Party? What a better way to celebrate than by booking a party for a bunch of fiber-nut friends or for yourself. We'll give you the classroom, and coffee and tea - you bring the cake and munchies!
